Heartfelt Lancaster Engagement Session

I (Kate) had such a wonderful time with Allyson and Kyle during their Lancaster engagement session! From the moment we started, it was clear that these two share something truly special. We spent the day exploring the streets of downtown Lancaster, discovering fun backdrops and capturing those candid moments full of love and laughter. The connection between them was undeniable, and I’m so excited to share the photos and memories we made together.

Exploring Lancaster’s Streets

We kicked off the session by strolling through the lively streets of Lancaster. The city’s charm—colorful murals, quirky alleys, and historic architecture—provided the perfect backdrop for capturing their chemistry. There was no shortage of smiles, and it felt like we were just hanging out, having fun together, while I snapped away. The best part of a Lancaster engagement session is how natural everything feels—their love for each other just shines through in every photo.

Golden Hour at Lancaster County Central Park

After our city adventure, we headed to Lancaster County Central Park to chase golden hour. There’s something magical about the light during that time, and it didn’t disappoint! We wandered through the open fields, taking in the peaceful surroundings while the sun set behind us. You could feel the warmth of the moment—not just from the sunlight, but from the genuine love between Allyson and Kyle. Their Lancaster engagement session was the perfect mix of nature, romance, and fun!

A Special Connection

I’ve known Allyson for eight years now, and watching her grow into the incredible woman she is today has been such a joy. I first met her when she was fresh out of high school, and we led a group of 7th grade girls together at our church’s youth group. One of the most memorable experiences I’ve had with Allyson was when she traveled to my hometown in Kenya for a mission trip. Hearing about her spending time with one of my best friends and experience the beauty of the country and its people was such a gift. It was amazing to see how much that trip impacted her.

Seeing Allyson embark on this new chapter with Kyle has been so exciting. Their wedding this summer at the Copper Horse in Ephrata is going to be absolutely beautiful, and I’m beyond thrilled for them both!
